Site run by the parish council
Laxfield Village Hall is a fully accessible, flexible space that can host a wide range of functions and events: parties, wedding receptions, concerts, plays, corporate meetings, exhibitions, indoor sports and club meets.
We have a large main hall, a lounge area with bar, a well-equipped kitchen, storage areas, cloakroom and accessible toilet. Free wifi for all visitors.
The hall is well set up for your event with a flexible stage, lighting, sound system and projector. Hirers can use our full complement of cutlery, crockery and glasses and we have plenty of tables and chairs for you to use.
Two disabled parking spaces are provided and there’s easy access for your car or van while you’re setting up your event.
We’re proud of our Village Hall, which is light, modern and well maintained. It’s run on a not-for-profit basis by a committee of volunteers with support from the Parish Council and the wider community.
We’ll be happy to show you round.

07/11/19: Rough Cast Theatre Company presents 'Bloody Poetry' by Howard Brenton.
Originally staged at the Royal Court in 1987, Bloody Poetry explores the relationship between the poets Byron and Shelley and their wives and lovers. We jump from Switzerland to Italy by way of London, Bath and Dover Beach, from 1816 to 1818 to 1822 – the year that Shelley drowned, mourned by those closest to him, among them the now Lord Byron and his widow, the author of Frankenstein, Mary Shelley. It’s an exciting mix of Romanticism and radicalism, leavened with a fair dose of humour too.
Tickets £10/£6 (students) available from Coop Food, Laxfield or www.roughcast.co.uk. Performances start 7.30pm. Not suitable for young children.
