Village Hall

Laxfield Village Hall is a fully accessible, flexible space that can host a wide range of functions and events: parties, wedding receptions, concerts, plays, corporate meetings, exhibitions, indoor sports and club meets.

We have a large main hall, a lounge area with bar, a well-equipped kitchen, storage areas, cloakroom and accessible toilet. Free wifi for all visitors.   A floor plan is available for planning your event.

The hall is well set up for your event with a flexible stage, lighting, sound system and projector. Hirers can use our full complement of cutlery, crockery and glasses and we have plenty of tables and chairs for you to use.

Two disabled parking spaces are provided and there’s easy access for your car or van while you’re setting up your event.

We’re proud of our Village Hall, which is light, modern and well maintained. It’s run on a not-for-profit basis by a committee of volunteers with support from the Parish Council and the wider community.

We’ll be happy to show you round.

Season's Greetings from Laxfield Village Hall

With Christmas just a few days away, Bill, Becky, Caroline, Colin E, Colin H and Monica wish all of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Once again there's an air of uncertainty around the running of events, but everything we’re currently advertising will definitely happen!

We intend to stick to all the advertised dates, including all performances of our brilliant Pantomime, Little Red Riding Hood. (What? You haven't got your tickets yet? Better hurry - details on the poster below!). After Christmas, we'll reassess the Covid situation and make sure all ticketholders know what's happening. Worst case scenario is that we move the date - but nothing's going to stop us rescuing Red from that Wolf without some great laughs along the way! Stick with it, we'll update you in early January.

Finally, some thank yous .... to our retiring and new Trustees this year... to the Parish Council for their ongoing support... to Caretaker David Owen for keeping us neat and tidy, to everyone that's hired the hall this year to run events, clubs and classes, and to everyone who has volunteered their time and skills. And, of course, to all of you for coming out to support us.

See you in the New Year!
